THE CHALLENGE
Playmobil sought to enhance visitor engagement at their experience centers by blending physical and digital (phygital) interactions. The goal was to create personalized, immersive experiences that captivated visitors of all ages.
THE SOLUTION
We developed a suite of interactive features to transform the visitor journey, including:
Motion-Controlled Avatars: On-screen avatars matched to visitor attributes, creating a personalized connection.
Avatar Customization Station: Enabled visitors to design avatars and dispense matching toy versions, bridging the digital and physical worlds.
App-Linked Avatars: Avatars appeared in playful scenes, such as driving cars or floating in space, across outlet screens for a personalized experience.
NFC Interactive Table: Provided multimedia product details using NFC technology, enriching toy discovery and exploration.
Collaborative Storytelling Screen: Allowed visitors to combine virtual toy items and avatars to create shared stories on a large screen, encouraging creativity and collaboration.
